The railways minister who once promised to make Bihar roads as smooth as the cheek of the film actress, now wants a role in a film being made by her.

Lalu Prasad, the effervescent RJD chief who had once promised to make Bihar roads as smooth as the cheek of film actress Hema Malini, now wants a role in a film being made by her.

Prasad said this on Friday when he was asked what was he talking to the BJP MP after casting vote in the Vice Presidential poll.

"It was all about a new film being made by her Hema Malini. I told her that I want a role in the film," Prasad said breaking into laughter, leaving journalists wondering whether he was serious or just joking.

Then, when someone asked him the name of the film, Prasad answered "film ka naam gopaniya hai (the name of the film is secret)".

As Prasad was engrossed in some serious conversation with the film star in the Parliament House corridor, photographers covering the polling were busy capturing the moment.

Hema Malini, however, avoided the media and left the place quietly after casting her vote.
