A self styled tehsil commander of Lashkar-e-Toiba militant outfit has been arrested in Doda district.
On a tip off that the ultra was planning an attack in Bhaderwah town in the district, a police team intercepted the militant identified as Imtiyaz Ahmed alias Saidullah last night, a senior police official said on Monday.
A Chinese pistol, a hand grenade and six rounds were recovered from him.
Imtiyaz is a close confidant of self styled LeT district commander Ashiq Husain.
