Let's re-evaluate our capabilities

To put a brave front is not a bad thing. But it must not constitute self deception. We unfortunately are suffering from the latter. After spending billions of dollars and many decades, discrete failures are what we have got out of so called integrated missile programme. The current failures have made the performance of all "Agnis" doubtful. We need to be realistic. We need to review our policies based on our real worth.

We should not feel ashamed to admit that our only reliably working system (that is, Prithvi) is based on badesi technology. It is unfortunate to note the fact that Agni-I and Agni-II have inducted to the forces without being properly tested.

The current failures have made the performance and conformance of all Agnis doubtful. We need to be realistic. A country can never benefit from mere claims and bluffs. It is the need of the hour to re-evaluate our capabilities and review our policies based on our real worth.
