Malvika Tiwari, a yesteryear model who unsuccessfully dabbled in acting, has emerged in a new avatar.

She is an image consultant with Lakme, often seen in the salon at The Grand (venue for the fashion Week), giving advice on makeup. "After sometime one has to move on. I am here to help out people who don't have enough confidence in themselves. Since I am more experienced, people tend to listen to me," said Tiwari.

The Lakme salon where she advises people is designed by another former model, Sunalika Oberoi. Sunalika quit modelling four years back. An alumnus of the National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad, Sunalika has designed the information boards, entry passes and accredition cards for the Fashion Week. "It is a lot of hard work. But I love every moment of it," she says.

Former model Mehyar Bhasin has turned television anchor for the event.
