The MMM is demanding mortal remains of Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru and founder of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Mohammad Maqbool Bhat.

Guru was hanged on February 9 this year while Bhat was sent to gallows in 1984 and later both were buried in Delhi's Tihar jail.

Shops and business establishments were open and traffic was plying on all routes.

Similiar reports were also received from other parts of the valley.
