LNCT organises seminar on energy conservation

THE THREE-DAY national seminar on `integration of energy from conventional and non-conventional sources’ commenced at the Lakshmi Narain College of Technology (LNCT) on Saturday.

Padam Singh from the Union Ministry of Non-conventional Energy Sources delivered the keynote address. LNCT chairman JK Chouksey was the chief guest while director of LNCT S K Chouksey presided over the function.

Principal SM Agrawal welcomed the guests. Vice-principal S L Nema proposed the vote of thanks. The technical sessions will continue on Sunday and Monday.

The topics discussed on Saturday were Energy conservation in manufacturing by V K Jain from IIT, Kanpur, Experimental investigation of bio-gas plant for running dual fuel engine by Praveen Mishra and OP Pandey from Birla Institute of Science and Technology, Ranchi and Biomass gasifier technology by Yogesh Yadav from Ankur Scientific Energy Technology, Baroda.
