Local writer to attend international festival

LOCAL MEDIAPERSON, litterateur and critic Dr Prithwi Nath Pandey has been invited to attend the Second International Writers’ Festival to be held at Kurukshetra from March 21 to 24.

The festival is being organised by Haryana Government with the support of Writers’ Club International, India Inter-Continental Cultural Association, Kurukshetra University, Jairam Vidyapeeth, Hardwar, Creative Circle and Kayanaat Arts, Chandigarh, Research Foundation, Delhi, World Literature Society, Agartala and Haryana Punjabi Sahitya Academy.

On the occasion, Dr Pandey will deliver lecture on 'The subjectivity in criticism’.

He will also put his views on the topic 'The awful role of politics in the sphere of literature'. Besides, Dr Pandey will recite his verses at the international kavi sammelan. His dictionaries, encyclopaedias and books on grammar, media and science will be flashed at the international platform, where writers, mediapersons and poets from all over the world will be present.

It is to be noted that Dr Pandey is the recipient of 27 national and international awards and honours and is one of the few writers who has penned over 800 books on varied topics.
