The CRPF caught two youths identified as Prakash Nayak and Gopal Nayak at Baburia under Sarangagada police station while they were passing through a road.

After questioning the two, the securitymen allegedly beat them up inflicting injury, the protesters alleged.

As soon as the news of the alleged assault spread, a large number of people, including women gathered at the spot.

Demanding immediate action against the erring personnel, the crowd staged a road blockade affecting movement of traffic, police said.
