The actor chose to party at the Golden Globes over going on a romantic holiday in Mexico with her new man.

Even if it meant disappointing movie mogul Joe Francis, it seemingly didn't bother young actress Lindsay Lohan much, for she chose to party at the Golden Globes over going on a romantic holiday in Mexico with her new man.

The 'Mean Girls' actress is currently dating Francis - who made his fortune producing adult entertainment video series Girls Gone Wild - and the couple were scheduled to leave on January 13) for a romantic get-away at his Mexican estate.

But according to the New York Post, the pair eventually decided to stay in Los Angeles, as "Neither of them could resist the lure of the Golden Globe parties."

Francis, 33, is said to have been with 20-year-old Lohan when she underwent an emergency appendectomy two weeks ago.
