Lok Sabha adjourned till March 9
The BJP-led Opposition on Friday paralysed proceedings in Lok Sabha demanding removal of Governors of Jharkhand and Goa.
Keeping up its pressure, the BJP-led Opposition on Friday paralysed proceedings in Lok Sabha demanding removal of Governors of Jharkhand and Goa, forcing its adjournment for the fourth consecutive day.

Soon after the House assembled, Leader of the Opposition LK Advani demanded immediate recall of Governors of the two states.
He said 41 MLAs from Jharkhand had on Thursday met President APJ Abdul Kalam and told him that the people's verdict in the state had been ignored.
Thereafter, the NDA members stormed the well raising slogans against the UPA government. They demanded removal of the two Governors.
Speaker Somnath Chatterjee's repeated pleas to maintain order went unheeded.
"This is a very sad day. I will not allow liquidation of democracy. I am compelled to adjourn the House," a visibly agitated Speaker said.
The Speaker said, "There is no respect for the Chair and Parliament. The Leader of the Opposition has sought recall of the two Governors. As you know well, how can I do that?"
As the slogan shouting continued, he said he was compelled to adjourn the House. "It is another sad day for democracy which is being challenged."
The Lok Sabha will now meet on March 9 after a four-day break.
