Albert Morris, the representative of the store at the fifth India fashion week, said that he is definitely "looking to place" Mukherjee.
And as for Tahiliani, samples of T-shirts that the store wants to buy from him are already on their way to London.
But the store is not yet ready to talk figures. "I still have to figure out price points, duty structures and things like that before we can decide on how much to buy," said Morris.
Till then, Morris has given Mukherjee a friendship wristband as a gesture of how much he was moved by the designer's "The Frog Princess" line this year.
Filled with intricately detailed stains and spray splashes, Mukherjee's collection was one of the finest at the fifth India fashion week that ended in the capital Monday.
Called Parisian and bohemian, the collection was widely applauded as truly international work from the young designer who is also doing the clothes for Bollywood director Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Black".
Tahiliani's jewelled T-shirts with Mughal motifs has been a worldwide hit and he even took them to the Milan fashion week last year.
"I have been impressed by the international appeal of these designers. They can be placed anywhere in the world," said Morris.
