Looks matter to Emraan

Emraan Hashmi took nearly the whole day to get his look right for the publicity shoot of Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai.

Excuse me while I check this mail that has just popped into my inbox. Turns out to be a khabru telling me that Emraan Hashmi took nearly the whole day to get his look right for the publicity shoot of Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai.

Seems they started shooting in the morning around 11 am, but they just couldn’t get the correct look for Emraan’s character, based on Dawood Ibrahim. Now, how is that possible, when they’ve already wrapped up shooting the film?

Anyway, my messenger tells me that director Milan Luthria and his team had got many newspaper clippings for reference, so they were predictably displeased that the results were just not satisfactory.

Thank God for small mercies, things started clicking in the evening. But it wasn’t until the midnight hour that Emraan and company finished shooting the publicity stills. Really now?
