According to contactmusic.com, Harrison is angry that Love's claims of a mistreated childhood will appear in her forthcoming journals and will be published by Faber and Faber. He claims that his daughter could not have remembered what happened to her when she was three years old despite also admitting she has a photographic memory.
He says: "Courtney is a brilliant artist with a photographic memory and a mass of talent. She can also be a mean bitch - although I put a lot of that down to her mother. I have been told she was given a $1 million advance for her book. I know she has told other people I gave her drugs when she was three years old, which she cannot possibly remember and is absolutely untrue as I was an anti-drugs counsellor in the 1960s. But I fear what she might write now to make the book sell."
