The couple, who have been dodging rumours about marital trouble, signed the pact after a visit to a New York therapist.
Queen of pop Madonna and her British director hubby Guy Ritchie has reportedly signed a love pact to save their marriage.
The couple, who have been dodging rumours about marital trouble, signed the pact over the New Year after a visit to therapist Tricia Barnes.
As a part of the pact, Madge and Guy have reportedly sworn to spend as much time as possible with their kids - Lourdes, 10, Rocco, 6, and David, 17 months.
A close friend of the couple revealed to British newspaper The People, that the visit to the therapist, as well as the pact, had helped the couple reach a “new understanding” about each other.
"They have both worked really hard at their marriage issues and come to a new understanding," Contactmusic quoted the pal, as telling the paper.
"They have each accepted their own part in the problems they had been experiencing and are determined not to let anything come between them again.
"It's a fresh start and they actually look like a pair of newlyweds again," the pal added.
Madge and Ritchie, who wed in December 2000, have reportedly also agreed to suspend solo projects that take a toll on their family lives, as well as to search for a larger home in New York City.
