RELIANCE COMMUNICATIONS has introduced the facility of watching B R Chopra’s popular mega-serial ‘Mahabharata’ on Reliance mobile.

Launching the initiative on Reliance Mobile World through video conferencing, Reliance Communications president (Application Solutions & Content Group), Mahesh Prasad said, “We’re pleased to bring Mahabharta alive on Reliance Mobile World, as it’s our constant endeavour to bring information, communication and entertainment on one platform”.

Mahabharata content is also offered for all Reliance Mobile World enabled phones. A customer can download up to 157 video mobisodes and can listen up to 471 minutes of programming of Mahabharata, which is available on dialing 1234 platform. The voice pack for Reliance subscribers is available at Rs 30 per month and listening to mobisode is at Re 1 per minute.

On the occasion, film director Ravi Chopra of BR Films said that Reliance Communications had tied up with Rajshri Films to recreate the magic of Mahabharata on its application suite.

“This initiative would make a greater reach for our epic Mahabharata. We made the serial, so that the epic doesn’t limit to scriptures alone and we want to use all mediums to make Mahabharata popular among the new generation,” Chopra added.
