The fire broke out around 2 pm at the godown of Wotson India Company in Sector 63, which housed corrugated boxes, they said, adding that ten fire engines were sent to the spot.

Firemen were still trying to douse the flames, which were largely brought under control till last reports came in.

The cause of the blaze is being ascertained.

Goods worth lakhs have been destroyed in fire, they said, adding that none has been injured as it was closed on Sunday.
