Man killed by daughter
A MAN, who tried to force himself on his daughter, was killed by her at her flat at Diamond Apartment, Rajmahal Colony, on Wednesday evening.
A MAN, who tried to force himself on his daughter, was killed by her at her flat at Diamond Apartment, Rajmahal Colony, on Wednesday evening.
According to CSP Padmavilochan Shukla, Hakim (55), son of Saifuddin, came visiting his daughter Mehjabi at her flat on Wednesday afternoon.
The father had had an evil eye on his daughter for quite some time, but she had consistently thwarted his advances. When he came to his daughter’s house today, he was in an inebriated state and when he tried to force himself on her, Mehjabi stabbed him with a knife. He sustained injuries on his stomach and chest and later succumbed.
Mehjabi’s husband, Sajid, who was in the house at that time, first called a doctor in a bid to see whether his father-in-law could be revived.
However, by the time the doctor arrived Hakim had died. Later, he called the Juni Indore police. The police have arrested both Mehjabi and Sajid in this connection.
They are also examining the veracity of the statements given by the couple.
