I will be travelling to Vaishno Devi during the second week of February. How does one travel from Manali? Guide me to affordable hotels in Manali. What is the weather like then?

In February, Manali is going to be freezing. I would suggest that you go to Chandigarh by train, and take a taxi or a Volvo bus to Manali. Before proceeding, inquire about the road conditions, because snow can be a snag. Take a hotel on Mall Road, as the rates are cheaper there. While travelling in Manali, opt for SUVs. You may go to Kulu and visit a shawl factory and then go to Manikaran on the same route Check out Hadimba temple, old Manali, Manu temple and Solang valley.
