He paid tributes to commemorate martyr Udai Singh who was killed in a terrorist attack on November 29, 2002. He said he was feeling proud to have come to village of Udai Singh. He said he was felling sad that a warrior like Udai Singh was no more with him.

The terrorist killed Udai Singh, a resident of Manjharia village under Khajani police station on November 29, 2002, He was awarded Shaurya Chakra and Sena Medal.
A programme was organised at his residence where a Shaheed Bhawan was in the memory of Udai Singh. Leader said he was proud of the fact that Udai Singh was a member of his regiment and before going to mission he sought permission from him.
Head priest of Gorakhnath temple Mahant Avaidyanath inaugurated the Shaheed Bhawan. Speaking on the occasion, he said the youths who sacrificed their lives for nation should be remembers.
He further said the nation needed warriors to combat the terrorism, and the sacrifice made by Udai Singh would be remembered. Paying tributes to martyr Udai Singh, his father and retired Colonel Kamal Kishor Singh threw light on the life of his son.
Newly elected mayor Anju Chaudhary also paid tributes to Udai Singh. She said Udai Singh set an example for the younger generation .
