"Before preaching leaders of other political parties, Mayawati should set an example by publicly declaring her own and her family members assets before and after joining the politics," UP Congress Committee president Reeta Bahuguna Joshi said in a statement here.

She alleged that people would be shocked if assets of Mayawati and her family members were made public.

"Mayawati had announced her assets, but had not revealed her source of income," Joshi said.

Samajwadi Party said that BSP supremo was feeling nervous as she had been exposed.

"Mayawati is well versed in the art of misleading people. She had started raising fingers on leaders of the opposition parties after people started talking about her Rs 88 crore assets," SP spokesman Rajendra Chaudhary alleged.
