MCD to get list of 287 colonies

The Delhi government will send a list of 287 more colonies to the MCD for finalising their layout plans. Of the 1,639 unauthorised colonies, a list of 733 colonies had been sent to the civic agency. HT reports.

However, the MCD made the layout plans of only 90 and sent them to the Delhi government for carrying out their boundary fixation. “The maps of 54 colonies out of 1,639 unauthorised colonies have been prepared, and they were given provisional regularisation certificates in 2008.”
