College life is exactly like a lecture. You can sleep through it, bunk it, survive it or enjoy it while it lasts. My name is Craig Dominic Pinto and I have been writing under the pseudonym of ANGEL for HT City for a while now.

I have begun to realise that college is like a vast ocean of opportunity. You just have to dive in, find the treasure and make the best use of it. There’s no point in being terrified of sharks because, honestly, even they started off as fucchas. Most importantly, never forget your friends, because swimming in a shoal guarantees enhanced results, immeasurable knowledge and oodles of fun and laughter.

This was the first lecture I got from The Delhi College of Arts and Commerce and I’m anxiously looking forward to learn more diving techniques.
Listen, I’m acting in a musical called Fiddler on the Roof, directed by George Pulinkala and choreographed by Ashley Lobo. It will be performed today and tomorrow at the Jesus and Mary College, Chanakya Puri at 6.30pm.

I will be happy to welcome you to this production on behalf of everyone else taking part in the play. This was just one of the opportunities I got while swimming in the deep. I’m sure there are others like you who can dance, sing and act way better than I can. My point is, if I can do it so can you. Make the best of your college life and success will be only a few inches away from your fins.
