Meet to decide division of 3 PSUs on Feb 13
A HIGH-level meeting of the State Assets and Liabilities Bifurcation Committee (SALBC) has been convened on February 13 to take a final decision on the division of properties of three State-owned undertakings between Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.

Former Chief Secretary R P Kapoor, who is chairman of the committee, will head the meeting. Chief Secretary of Madhya Pradesh, Rakesh Sahani and his Chhattisharh counterpart R P Bhaghi along with senior officers of both the states would be present during the meeting.
The Public Sector Units (PSUs) to be discussed in the meeting are Madhya Pradesh State Industrial Development Corporation, Madhya Pradesh Pichhra Varg Tatha Alpsankhyak Vitta Avam Vikas Nigam and Madhya Pradesh Seed and Farm Development Corporation.
The State Assets and Liabilities Bifurcation Committee is carrying out the process of division between Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. All these state-owned bodies are being bifurcated under the provisions of Madhya Pradesh State Reorganisation Act, 2000.
Senior officers in Mantralaya told the Hindustan Times that they were satisfied with the pace of work of the division. “Most interesting aspect about ongoing process of division is that all decisions are being taken amicably on the basis of consensus,” remarked an officer associated with the exercise.
