MHA seeks report from Andhra Govt on serial blasts

The Union Home Ministry on Saturday sought a report from the Andhra Pradesh government on the situation in Hyderabad, in the wake of serial blasts in the city.

The Union Home Ministry on Saturday sought a report from the Andhra Pradesh government on the situation in Hyderabad, in the wake of serial blasts in the city.

"The Home ministry is in constant touch with the state government," an MHA spokesman said.

He said the situation is being closely monitored in the MHA.

Union Home Secretary Madhukar Gupta spoke to the State Chief Secretary to monitor the situation and sought details of the incidents.
