Designers like Bottega Veneta, Ermenegildo Zegna and Giorgio Armani have predicted some hot winter trends for men at the recently-concluded Milan Fashion Week in Italy. Here’re the prominent trends straight from the ramp:
Trend One: Grey rules
Shades of grey have taken over black. The former continues to be the colour of winter in 2010-11, what with all the designers projecting grey in their lines. Black, meanwhile, takes second place.
Trend Two: Jeans
While Dolce & Gabbana showed narrow-at-the-bottom and washed-out jeans, Bottega Veneta went for a fold-up style.
Trend Three: Colours
Besides the basic hues, bright colours were also shown on the ramp — dark green, blue, red, yellow, etc
Trend Four: Checks, boots and bags
Checks in all sizes, be it on shirts, coats or pants, is in. Accessories like calf-length boots and business bags in leather also made it to the ramp.
