An earthquake of slight intensity measuring 2.8 on the Richter scale was felt in parts of Orissa on Tuesday night.

The quake, with its epicentre at latitude 20.8 degrees north and longitude 84.8 degree east, was recorded at 2325 hours last night, the meteorological centre in Bhubaneswar said on Wednesday.
The quake was felt in Athmullick and Angul areas.
No damage to property was reported due to the tremor.
