The incident took place when three ultras barged into the house of Mohammad Ramzan Khandey at Lidreri village in the hilly district of Kishtwar, about 290 kms from Srinagar, on Wednesday night and abducted him, they said.

Later the ultras took the contractor to forest area of Panradi and tortured him to death, they said, adding that his body has been recovered.
