Minor girl raped in Jammu and Kashmir
A nine-year-old girl was raped by a middle-aged man in Bhaderwah in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir.

A nine-year-old girl was raped by a middle-aged man in Bhaderwah in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday and the police arrested him within hours.
The accused, identified as Safdar Ali, waylaid the girl when she was walking through a wooded area close to her village and assaulted her, station house officer (Bhaderwah) Ajay Jamwal said.
The victim reported the matter to her parents who lodged a police complaint. The accused was arrested within two hours, police said.
A medical examination of the girl established the crime and a case of rape was registered against the accused.
Bhaderwah is part of Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad's constituency.
