Mishra assurance on lawyers? demand

LAW MINISTER Narottam Mishra on Tuesday assured the lawyers that their problems would be resolved soon. Mishra, who visited the district civil court here today to participate in the New Year/Id Milan programme, said that he would invite lawyers to his residence in February and also request the Chief Minister to come, so that he could be apprised of problems of the lawyers and steps initiated to resolve them.

District Bar Association president Vijay Chaudhary welcomed the minister and also hand over a charter of demands to him on behalf of the lawyers.

Lawyers practicing in the civil court for more than 50 years including Shikhar Chand Godha, L N Agrawal, Uttam Chand Israni, Shantilal Lodha and Bal Krishna Oberai were felicitated on the occasion. District & Sessions judge Renu Sharma and other judges also participated in the programme
