“Around six people started beating me up when I was trying to go out of the gate. The mob of 200 workers beat up everyone mercilessly. They did not even spare me even though I was one of them. There were some people who provoked others,” said an injured Ranjan, who also happens to be a company worker. Ranjan was on leave and had come to collect some information about his provident fund account on Saturday. He, however, said women were spared by the mob.
