Moderate earthquake in Car Nicobar islands
The Car Nicobar islands were today jolted by a moderate intensity earthquake, the Meteorological Department said.

The Car Nicobar Islands were on Wednesday jolted by a moderate intensity earthquake, the Meteorological Department said.
The quake, measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale, was recorded at 0803 hours IST.
It was epicentred to the Northwest of Car Nicobar Islands, it said.
