An earthquake of moderate intensity shook the Indonesian island of Java on Friday, the Meteorological Department said.
The quake, measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale, struck the island's south at 0025 IST. It was epicentred at 09.4 degree south latitude and 110.0 degree east longitude.
There were no immediate reports of any casualties.
