A magnitude-5.2 earthquake rattled Pakistan's portion of Kashmir and the east of the country, weather department said.
A magnitude-5.2 earthquake rattled Pakistan's portion of Kashmir and the east of the country on Friday, the Meteorological Department said. There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties.
The quake was felt in the capital, Islamabad, in the cities of Lahore, Jhelum, Peshawar, and in parts of Kashmir, said Arif Ullah, a department official in Peshawar.

He said the quake's epicentre was located about 300 kilometers east of Peshawar, the capital of North West Frontier Province.
More than 1,700 aftershocks have rattled the country since a 7.6-magnitude quake struck Pakistan and Kashmir on October 8, killing more than 80,000 people and leaving over three million others homeless.
