Modi forwards Shah's resignation for Guj governor's approval

Shah who is facing murder and extortion charges in Soharabuddin Sheikh encounter case had earlier today submitted his resignation to the chief minister.

Modi has accepted the resignation and forwarded to the Gujarat governor for approval.

Shah after being accused in the fake encounter case has been eluding arrest by he CBI which is investigating the case.

CBI had yesterday filed chargsheet in the fake encounter case.
