Modi, Sharif in US: Should they use this chance to improve ties?

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif are in the United States and are staying in the same hotel in New York - the iconic Waldorf Astoria. But the leaders will not have a bilateral meeting, officials have said.

“As of now there is nothing, no bilateral meeting on the schedule,” ministry of external affairs spokesperson Vikas Swarup said.
