Fashion Design Council of India in a statement today said that over 70 international buyers and 90 from the country would be participating in Wills Lifestyle Fashion Week from April 5 to 9.

Buyer participation this year is higher than ever before, it said.

"Both domestic and international buyer participation is higher this year," Director General FDCI said.

Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week would provide a platform to facilitate the development of trade opportunities for both buyers and designers, thus promoting Indian fashion in its entirety, he said.

The event aims at promoting Indian designers in the local and global marketplace.

FDCI has almost doubled the space devoted to business centres and would provide designers to promote their creations, the statement said.
