The former World Rally Championship (WRC) driver was untroubled in the lead of the Rally and he became the first non-New Zealand driver to win the event. With just two events left in the 2011 APRC season, the Australian leads the championship by 21 points over his Proton teammate Alister McRae (also a former WRC driver). Gill lies a further 15 points adrift.

Results: 1. Chris Atkinson/Stephane Prevot, 3:01:26.9; 2 Hayden Paddon/John Kennard +12.4; 3. Richard Mason/Sara Mason +1:48.1; 4. Chris West/Erin Kyle +2:47; 5. Emma Gilmour/Ben Atkinson, Subaru +3:25.2
