MTNL-STPI signs JV agreement

MTNL has signed a 50:50 joint venture agreement with Hyderabad-based STPI to set up and maintain Internet Data Centre.

Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) on Monday said it has signed a 50:50 joint venture agreement with Hyderabad-based Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) to set up and maintain Internet Data Centre.

MTNL informed the Bombay Stock Exchange about the JV agreement with STPI which is an autonomous society under Department of Information Technology, Government of India.

Along with maintenance of internet data centre, the joint venture would also facilitate other related activities, it added.
