Chairman and Managing Director of Reliance Industries Ltd Mukesh Ambani has been nominated as the co-chair at the World Economic Forum (WEF) for its annual summit beginning on January 25.

Ambani is the youngest Indian business leader to have been nominated to this position, a release issued by RIL.
Ambani will be sharing the honours with Peter Brbeck-Letmathe, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Nestle SA, Sir Mrtin Sorrell, Group Chief Executive, WPP Plc, Ms Ana P Botin, Chairman Banco Espanol de Credito and Lawrence H Summers, President, Harvard University.
WEF has recognised importance of India and special theme is planned for the three days titled "India everywhere".
RIL is India's largest private sector with a turnover of 73,164 crore ($16.7 billion) and with a cash profit of 12,087 crore ($2.8 billion).
