The warrant was issued by a sessions court which is hearing a case registered against Sahil and others for selling Shahtoosh shawls banned under Indian Wildlife Act.

The sessions court asked the concerned magistrate hearing Sahil's case registered by Tughlak road police station in New Delhi to hand over his custody to the Mumbai court after his police remand in the narcotics case gets over.

Mumbai police registered a case against Sahil and others after he fled with Shahtoosh shawls from his uncle's shop at a five star hotel in south Mumbai during a raid in March this year.

While Sahil was granted anticipatory bail, his uncle and an employee of the shop, Rafiq Ghulam Mohammed and Ilyas Aziz Khan, were released on regular bail by a remand court.

The state has moved for cancellation of bail granted to Sahil's uncle and Ilyas in the Mumbai court which has posted the matter for hearing on June eight.
