Munda demands immediate resignation by Soren

Arjun Munda, leader of Opposition in Jharkhand Assembly said that the Governor should not give any time to Chief Minister Shibu Soren and ask him to step down immediately.

Arjun Munda, leader of Opposition in Jharkhand Assembly on Sunday night said that the Governor should not give any time to Chief Minister Shibu Soren and ask him to step down immediately.

"The Governor should seek opinion of legal experts at the earliest and ask the Chief Minister to put in his papers without any more delay," Munda said moments after Soren announced that he would resign tomorrow at 11 a.M. Accusing Soren of not abiding by the constituion, Munda said, "The Chief Minister is flouting democratic values and constitutional obligations. He should not delay a minute to resign which will end the current political turmoil."
