Musharraf's trip will include a brief stop in Dubai to offer condolences for the death of Sheik Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the emir of Dubai and prime minister of the United Arab Emirates, who died earlier this month, the official Associated Press of Pakistan news agency reported.
He will also visit Norway to promote economic cooperation and thank the Norwegian government for providing relief to survivors of the massive October 8 earthquake in northern Pakistan, APP said.
Musharraf is scheduled to visit Switzerland on January 25-27 to attend the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum. He will address the forum's plenary session on "Leadership in the Wake of Natural Disasters," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement last week.
The magnitude-7.6 quake left about 87,000 people dead and thousands others injured in Pakistan's portion of Kashmir and the country's northwest. Some 3.5 million people have been left homeless.
