Muslims, SCs used as guinea pigs
Political parties use Muslims, SCs and STs for their votes but are hardly interested in their welfare. They do nothing to impart education. Such communities remain largely uneducated and only keep adding to their populations. As a result they become a liability because howsoever, a nation may progress economically, its economic growth is nullified by an ever increasing population.india Updated: Mar 04, 2006 19:11 IST
I am in agreement with your views. Political parties are using the Muslims, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes as their vote banks but they are hardly interested in their welfare.
They are doing nothing to impart education to the poorer sections of these communities which form large segments of their population so that these communities remain largely uneducated with the result that they go on adding to their populations because it is seen that educated people try to control their population so that their children could get better education, better nutrition and better health thereby becoming an asset to the nation while uneducated persons go on producing children taking the latter to be a gift from God.
The uneducated population of the above mentioned communities make up a large proportion of unskilled labour which becomes a liability for the nation because howsoever, the nation may progress economically, its economic growth is nullified by the ever increasing number of unskilled labour which cannot find jobs in the prevalent economic system.
This soaring population drains the growing economy of the country to such a large extent that even the cooperation between India and the superpower of the world, USA, is not going to make India's economy a healthy one.
However, the politicians, particularly the leftists and their fellow travellers like Samajwadi Party, etc. are hell-bent on exploiting the Muslims, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes so that they only vote for these parties and never get education.
When would such parties rise above the narrow consideration of winning the elections and enter into the job of uplifting these communities and stop their reckless rant?
