Myself and my friends are ready to face polls: Antony

"I do not know when the election schedule for the Lok Sabha will be announced. However, myself and my friends' (apparently meaning Congress party), mental frame is ready to face the polls," Antony said at the inauguration of the valedictory function of the Ruby Jubilee celebrations of the Ernakulam Press Club in Kochi.

Antony said the functions he would be attending today will be his last as Defence Minister.

"One function is connected with my old family (press club) and the other function is connected with my present family (Defence)."
