Despite the drubbing at the hustings, Telugu Desam Party reposed faith in N Chandrababu Naidu and re-elected him as its legislature party leader here on Saturday.

Naidu's name was proposed by Y Ramakrishnudu and seconded by other senior leaders present at the meeting held at party headquarters NTR Bhavan.

T Devender Goud, N Janardhan Reddy and K Kala Venkat Rao were elected deputy leaders of the TDLP.
The party will hold its annual convention Mahanadu here on May 27 and 28 and will discuss the factors that led to party's debacle.
TDP-BJP combine were dealt a severe blow by Congress-TRS and left combine. While TDP got 47 seats, BJP could win just two in the 294-member House.
