Naman and Smith were simply brilliant

We needed a good partnership at the top and Naman, who was sent back home and then recalled, provided just that with Smith. Now, I don't need to repeat that Smith is a big match player. Whoever said he is out of form has to eat the humble pie now. Watching Smith bat is a lesson to all of us.

With Naman, he put on 100 runs for the first wicket and that more than anything else became the cornerstone for our win.

The fact that we ended with the highest score of the tournament, only made the duo's effort look that much more sweet.

The team is gelling well now and a major factor for this is the time we spent together at the Shamwari game farm reserve near Port Elizabeth.

Our next opponents are the Royal Challengers and I think we are in for an even contest.
