Thousands of Hindus on Friday thronged the temples of Lord Vitthal and Rukmini to offer prayers on the occasion of 'Ashadhi Ekadashi'.

Thousands of Hindus on Friday thronged the temples of Lord Vitthal and Rukmini to offer prayers on the occasion of 'Ashadhi Ekadashi'.

Thousands of devotees also took a holy-dip in Godavari river and observed day-long fast.

Proper security has been provided across temples and the river to avert any untoward incident.
