Suspected militants today barged into the house of a National Conference leader and shot him dead in Bandipora district of North Kashmir.

Suspected militants today barged into the house of a National Conference leader and shot him dead in Bandipora district of North Kashmir.
Police said Abdul Ahad Para (50), party's block president in Bandipora, was attacked by unidentified militants at his Hagin residence, about 35 km from here.
No militant group has owned responsibility for the crime.
Police have launched a combing operation in the area.
