NC, PDP spar over 3 Idiots poster on Facebook
Kashmir's ruling party the National Conference (NC) has threatened to file a defamation suit against the opposition People's Democratic Party (PDP) president Mehbooba Mufti over the portayal of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, his father Farooq Abdullah and grandfather late Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah on the social networking site, Facebook.

The Abdullahs' faces have been morphed on to the poster of the film 3 Idiots on Facebook calling them the betrayers of Kashmir.
According to media reports NC alleges that Mufti sent out an SMS asking people to visit the site to see the photograph.
The NC has demanded a public apology from the PDP for what it called an attempt to “tarnish” the image of First Family of Kashmir.
The poster sparked protests by NC party workers.
Meanwhile, Mufti has said she had nothing to do with the morphed poster.
