ND Tiwari launches "Sonia Sandesh Rath"

Uttaranchal CM launched "Sonia Sandesh Rath" which would cover the whole of the hill state in the run-up to the Lok Sabha elections.

Uttaranchal Chief Minister ND Tiwari on Sunday launched the "Sonia Sandesh Rath" which would cover the whole of the hill state in the run-up to the Lok Sabha elections.

The rath is being launched in a well-planned strategy to take the political mileage in the face of Deputy Prime Minister LK Advani's yatra which did not touch the length and breadth of the state, Party sources said.

However, Tiwari only covered one km of the yatra and later alighted from it. All other top Congress leaders remained conspicuous with their absence.
